Molly and Scott’s wedding was a rad party amid the Sonoma Vineyards.
As a wedding photographer, I honestly love when my couples let loose and celebrate their married booties off with all their favorite humans. Molly and Scott? THEY DID JUST THAT.
Originally, I met these two when they came up to Lake Tahoe for a little vacation! They wanted engagement photos! Thankfully, they wanted me to take them. We went to one of my absolute fav spots on the lake and drank whiskey and just made art together.
From that magical session, they chose to book me for their wedding in Sonoma, California! Let me tell ya, it was a freaking dream.

Get to Know the Couple: Molly & Scott
Molly and Scott met (and made out – SOMEONE CALL GOSSIP GIRL BECAUSE IT IS GETTING SCANDALOUS OVER HERE) at a Halloween party in 2016. He was dressed up as a cowboy, and she was Avril Lavigne. The pair ended up being the perfect match and have been joined at the hip ever since.
They describe their relationship as being outdoorsy and goofy. Together, they enjoy backpacking, drinking whiskey, and having oyster picnics. They have a very fluffy cat named Ranger who has become their child with paws.
Without a doubt, they are the epitome of snack lovers. Cheese, crackers, and quesadillas are their go-to’s. Molly even calls quesadillas, “snack-a-dillas” so that they fall under the snack category. I mean, maybe Molly and Scott are MY soulmates?!
First Comes Love Then Comes a Rad Wedding Amid the Sonoma Vineyards
To start their day, they got ready at the Geyserville Inn which is so precious! Honestly, if you are having a smaller wedding, this would be the perfect mini venue.
We then traveled to The Highlands Estate which is a beautiful winery. Can I just say, “HEART EYES?” It has this incredible old oak tree on the property where we did their first look and where we did their bridal portraits. It was absolutely magical.
Molly and Scott had a family-style meal which was so rad! Since Molly is the ultimate foodie, she made sure that the food was top-notch! Check out her food blog called Moss en Place.
Although their entire Sonoma Vineyards was incredible, their reception is where they really got their intimate party started! I mean, it felt like a freakin concert with all the lights, a smoke machine and of course Scott’s dance moves!
