Abby and Nick’s Lake Tahoe vista point engagement session was very chill and warm…just like them!!

Before we can dive in, there’s something you have to know about this Vista Point first… she is GORGEOUS!

Abby and Nick originally booked me only for an engagement session, but they loved it so much that they booked their wedding photos with me after. I was so excited to continue with their wedding journey.

Let’s be real, hesitations about committing and booking a wedding photographer are real! Keep scrolling for my number one tip if you’re ever unsure about booking a photographer!

But First, Abby and Nick’s Lake Tahoe Vista Point Engagement Session

I met up with Abby and Nick at a Lake Tahoe vista point where we kicked off the sesh with some tunes! Nick was a little nervous and hesitant about being in front of the camera BUT he was an absolute trooper once he felt the music.

Abby was so excited by the end to get some pics of her boy with them both lookin’ so cute! The best part they did a champagne pop AND they brought Taco Bell! Abby is a T-Bell girly, so she had to include it in her engagement photos — obsessed with this idea.

By the end of the session, Abby and Nick told me about having their pajamas in the car ready for plans after their sesh. I think it’s AMAZING when clients make a full date out of their engagement session.

Abby and Nick loved their time so much that they booked me for their wedding photos. Now here is why booking an engagement session with a photographer is a good idea.

Why Should You Book an Engagement Session with A Potential Wedding Photographer

In a saturated industry, there are so many options for wedding photographers that can leave couples feeling a little hesitant. If you find potential photographers, book an engagement session with them – as Abby and Nick did.

Booking an engagement session before you commit to a wedding photographer is the best way to know if they’re the one for your wedding. You will be able to get a better sense of their style, their personality, and see if they make you feel comfortable.

It’s a great place to start!

You get to meet and work with them PLUS get some cute photos for any save-the-dates. By the end of the session and when you get the gallery photos you will know if they are the one for you.

For me, it is always an honor to join couples in any stage of their love story.
