One of the things I love about this job is that I get to meet rad humans from all over the place. Meeting Lauren & Ty was no different. They traveled here from the midwest and it was the first time to California. This also happened to be the trip where Ty proposed to Lauren and their original couples session turned into a yummy golden hour engagement session in South Lake Tahoe. Though Ty proposed the day before so I didn’t get to capture THE moment, we still did a couple posed on-one-knee photos to recreate and celebrate their engagement.

We spent two hours exploring one of my favorite places on the lake and soaking in that yummy golden light that summer never fails to bring. I also love that because they booked one of my longer packages. Since we had more time, we really got to explore the best that this area has to offer and have the time to switch up their outfits for all the variety in their images.
