Jessy and Steve’s celebration was an intimate Reno Suburban Backyard Wedding.
One of my favorite things about small weddings is how you know for sure all the people there care so much about the couple and you could definitely feel that at Jessy and Steve’s backyard wedding!
These two were so sweet, and I’m so vvvv thrilled they decided to book with me after I took their engagement photos at Rattlesnake Mountain! Seriously, since their engagements, I have been obsessed with them!

Okay, let’s take it wayyyy back, like when a Blockbuster was still on every corner, and your mom was driving you to the mall. I am talkin’ WAY BACK.
Yup, friends! These two lovebirds are childhood sweethearts! Of course, it took until they were older to kindle their romance! But, their lives have been intertwined long before any of us were over our “cooties” phase.
Needless to say, this Reno Suburban Backyard Wedding has been in the cards for a long time.
Also, they have a beautiful family! They have two children with their youngest being just 4 months old at the time of their wedding.

They started off their special day getting ready inside their best friend’s home. It was so special to see them surrounded by the people that love them most in such a meaningful place. We took first-look photos with Jessy and her dad, then Steve.
Guys, he CRIED the first time he saw her. Can someone grab the tissues because now I am crying? Seeing grooms cry is just one of my favorite reactions because it’s always so genuine.
Jessy and Steve had some amazing vendors as well!
Cherry Bomb Catering was absolutely delicious and set everything up right in the kitchen of the home. They really do go above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them enough!
Speaking of beyond Jessy’s flowers WERE TO DIE FOR. Twist flowers created a beautiful mix of hot pink and subtlety, they were perfect!

Finally, golden hour really showed up and made for some amazing shots.
I’m so glad Jessy and Steve decided to create a photo album with me! It’s always so fun to go through and relive one of the happiest days with clients, as well as choose their favorite photos! Redtree is such an amazing service for photo albums, the quality and customization are INSANE.
