Shayne and Julie’s LGBTQ+ Inclusive Wedding at Aspen Grove, in Incline Village Nevada, was a day filled with pure unfiltered love. There were many happy tears shed by every single person in attendance.
It is safe to say that I love both of these women so much. I mean, c’mon! They are absolutely incredible! Another one of my LGBTQ+ couples actually referred me to them, and I will forever be so grateful. The best part of this match made in heaven? Shawnna, the referee, was actually the “best man” at their wedding!

Leading up to their wedding we did most of the prep online! However, right before their wedding we FINALLY got to meet in person, and it was epic! At that meeting, I immediately knew that they were super rad and down-to-earth women!
We met at a local place called Brewer’s Cabinet. There we had some yummy snacks and beers while we really vibed before their wedding day! Together, we worked out all of the details as we planned their timeline.
FUN FACT: I ALWAYS meet with each and every one of my clients before their wedding day to help them do all of the preparation. This allows them to ask any and all of the questions they have before their special day.

The venue for this LGBTQ+ Inclusive Wedding is also run by the same folks who run The Chateau, another venue in Incline Village.
I also love that it’s across the street from Ski Beach so we got to pop over there for couples photos and it was sooooo pretty! I couldn’t have even dreamt up a better location if I tried!
They had a library/book theme for their wedding decor, and it was so cute! I also got to bring Alley of Alley Rose Co. along to be my second photographer. I love having her tag along with me. She always makes the day so fun and it’s so nice to have a second pair of eyes capturing all the best moments of your wedding day.
It was also my first time working with McClain’s Mobile DJ and they were excellent – they truly kept the party going and if you’re in the market for a DJ, I highly recommend you check them out!!
