A Slow Morning and Wedding Preparations
The day began with a serene Sunday morning as Whitney, from Wild and Wanderlust, and I woke up ready to dive headfirst into the magic of Jenna and Josh’s wedding.
After a blissful start to the day, we headed back to the all-inclusive resort, Villa La Valencia, where the couple was staying.
As we arrived, we were greeted by the beauty of the resort’s grounds. I am convinced that I am a Cabo girlie through and through because my head immediately started spinning with ideas for these two’s portraits.
Heading to Jenna’s room, we were surprised with the most elegant room I have ever seen.
Her room was a large suite with a balcony that seemed to stretch out endlessly, overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect location to capture the intricate beginning details of the day.

While Whitney captured the energy of the bridal party, I joined the boys in Josh’s room.
Surprisingly quiet, their space was so calm compared to the hustle within the girls’ room. Among the golf-playing groomsmen, I documented Josh’s getting ready process.
Heartfelt Sentiments and Sentimental Gifts
As everyone continued to prep, Josh found a quiet spot on the balcony to open gifts from Jenna.
She had gifted him a safety pin with photos of his late grandparents. He wasn’t expecting such an emotional gift and he was just that — emotional!
And, cue the crying ASAP.
Jenna’s gifts also included a spicy boudie album. IYKYK.
This one was the ultimate testament to their interests and history.
An Oasis of Love: Acre Resort in Cabo San Lucas
The time had come for the ceremony, and Acre Resort served as a stunning backdrop.
Seriously.
Of course, it was all JAWDROPPING.
Jenna and Josh’s vows were heartfelt, and their commitment to each other was felt by everyone in attendance.
One of the best parts?
A live painter, Juliana, added a unique touch by capturing their first kiss on a canvas, creating a piece of art to commemorate the moment as it happened.
Such a fun wedding tradition that is taking the world by storm.
Cocktail Hour and Golden Hour Portraits
As the cocktail hour began, tequila started to flowww and I was there to capture all the candids!
Meanwhile, Whitney requested family photos, making sure that each moment was preserved forever and ever.
When golden hour began, we whisked the couple away for breathtaking bridal portraits. Those ideas that I had pictured earlier?! They continued to make their debut.
An Unforgettable Evening at Acre Resort in Cabo
The newlyweds shared their first dance and right at the end, the sparkler towers were lit — talk about A VIBE.
Undoubtedly, the reception was pumping with Latin club music making it a true Cabo, Mexico party!
As the evening continued, Jenna and Josh took plenty of moments to soak in each other and the commitment they had just said “I Do” to a few hours prior!
