This weekend has been a whirlwind of love at Ana and Martín’s Wedding at Pearson Ranch in Woodside, California.

Their love story took a turn when, after rescheduling their wedding due to the pandemic, they decided to start their family first.

Enter Matilda, or Mati, as her parents lovingly call her.

Her presence added an extra layer of sweetness to the day. The love Ana and Martín share isn’t confined to each other; it surrounds their entire family, and I was here for it.

Traditional Touches and Authenticity: A Mexican Affair

Both coming from Mexico, Ana and Martín infused their day with traditional dances and elements.

Salsa and mariachi bands set the stage for a celebration rich in cultural authenticity. The highlight? A churro group showing up in a U-Haul—because when it’s authentic af, it arrives on wheels.

Ana and Martín’s thoughtfulness extended to every aspect of their day. From bilingual speeches to translated vows during the ceremony, they made sure everyone felt included.

Pearson Ranch, nestled in the hills of Palo Alto, provided a stunning backdrop for their love-filled day.

All the Things

Martín’s emotional first look with his daughter, Matilda, set the tone for a day filled with true emotion. And, let’s not forget Martín’s wedding attire, which was the epitome of cool. Seriously. I love when my grooms step out the traditional tux and let their personality show on their wedding day!

After tying the knot under a picturesque tree, Ana and Martín stole away for sunset portraits on a hill with 360-degree views.

The love and joy emanating from this couple were palpable. Like, you could feeeeeellll it.

The reception was a dance-filled celebration, with Martín leading the charge on the dance floor like a man possessed. Even I got in on the salsa action, although sadly, there’s no photographic evidence.

You’ll just have to take my word on this one!

The night was easygoing, full of tradition, and punctuated with a delicious meal catered by Ana’s cousin.
