Okay, okay! I want you to picture this: You’re coming to Lake Tahoe and you have no idea where to stay. Or, maybe you’re having a hard time deciding where to make your headquarters while saying “I do” or celebrating an engagement.
Well, you’re in luck because as a Lake Tahoe Wedding + Elopement Photographer, finding local Airbnbs have kinda become my thing!
Here are my Top 5 Airbnbs in Lake Tahoe to make your stay the best it can be!
1. Mid-Century Modern Revamped A-Frame
First of all this Mid-Century Modern A-frame is literally so freakin’ cute!
The kitchen is my retro dream and even though it’s an A-frame it makes great use of space!
It’s the perfect location being in North Lake and close to Kings Beach and it’s less than a 30-minute drive to Northstar for skiing and great public access to beaches. You can literally stay here any time of the year and will have the best time!
2. Charming Cabin with Spectacular Tahoe Views
This one is a little more on the pricey side. But, holy shit! The views are worth it!
It’s on the North Shore right near Tahoe City and Kings Beach, so this little cabin has great access to amazing food and drinks at Garwoods.
The amenities also include a hot tub (HELL YES) with a stellar view and it can accommodate up to 10 people so it’s absolutely perfect as a getting-ready space for a North Shore Wedding or Bachelorette Party!
3. Vintage Modern A-Frame
Okay, this one might just be my favorite!
It’s definitely Pinterest-worthy and gives you all the “Life at the Lake” feels.
It’s nestled in the quiet town of Homewood which is on the West Shore, this part of the lake is a stark contrast to the fast-paced South Lake Tahoe. Making this little cabin amazing for a quiet relaxing getaway.
Plus if you’re looking for epic views of the lake as a backdrop for your elopement or engagement sesh, the west shore is the perfect spot to be! I mean just look at what we can create over here: Engagement Photos with a View
4. Golf Course Oasis
This sweet little newly remodeled cabin in Tahoe Vista is great for my folks who want close access to a golf course!
It’s cozy and cute and the best part? HOT TUB, DUH!!!
It also has a separate little office shed for those who need to work while they’re away from home or want to come work remotely for a couple of weeks! I mean I’m seriously thinking about packing up and staying up here for a couple weeks 😉
5. South Lake Chalet
This sweet Chalet is not only affordable but is located in South Lake Tahoe!
It even has easy access to Stateline and Heavenly Village.
This is perfect my people that want a hotel experience, but with the charm of an Airbnb because it’s a renovated motel (talk about added charm). But wait! There’s more, this amazing place allows pets! So you can totally bring your four-legged friends on your adventure to the lake. (And yes. Dogs are TOTALLY WELCOME at any session with me!)
