Recapping This Crystal Bay Surprise Proposal

After two months of planning, the couple embarked on a 15-minute uphill hike to reach this stunning location.

Arriving early, I had the chance to soak in the breathtaking views and get a chance to calm my nerves for the moment. Yes, I’m just as nervous as the folks who are asking the question hahah. Shortly after, Sanjam and Alexis made their ascent, with Alexis completely unaware of the surprise that was about to be in front of her.

The uphill climb didn’t stop Alexis, who conquered it in heels. I am still impressed, to be honest.

They made their way down the path and Sanjam started pouring his heart out to Alexis. He shared stories of their relationship, what he loves the most about her & their relationship and then, with the mountains as witnesses, he popped the question.

& as soon had that ring was on her finger, Alexis shouted from the mountain tops, “I’M ENGAGED!!!”

Celebrating the YES

We threw on some old-school Bay Area rap and danced on the mountaintop celebrating their new titles (FIANCÈS!) and did a full engagement session to document the moment.

It never ceases to blow my mind that this is my job and I get to celebrate the biggest milestones in people’s relationships. I get to help them make all the memories and have something to look back on for a lifetime and that truly is so amazing!!
