After capturing Kendall Wesenberg and Whitney Fenimore’s engagement session… CHECK IT OUT HERE. I was so excited for the chance to also photograph their Tahoe Mountain Club Wedding. Not only are they incredibly sweet, but they have such a spectacular love.
Any wedding photographer would have been blessed to photograph them, but I am so grateful they chose me! I love them to death, and I will forever fangirl over them! I mean, IYKYK.
Their wedding day was a cold and stormy June day. Like, I think the high was 58 degrees that day. Although it was chilly, the weather didn’t get them down and we had the most magical day. Plus, the overcast lighting was everythingggg.
The Making of Their Tahoe Mountain Club Wedding
You might recognize Kendall as the Olympic Athlete who competed in the 2018 Olympic skeleton races! Also, if you are an avid watcher of NBC’s, The Voice, you are totally going to recognize Whitney as the Nashville-based artist with the most melodic voice and beautiful lyrics from 2017.
ONE WORD: SUPERHUMANS
Like most modern love stories, Whitney slid into Kendall’s DM’s. Needing to make sure Whitney wasn’t like a catfish or anything, Kendall booked a flight to Nashville. Since it was during the pandemic they got to stay together until they bought their first home together. Overcoming challenges and fast-forwarding time, they are saying “I do” on the picturesque venue of the Tahoe Mountain Club in California.
WEDDING DAY DETAILS
Their day started with me meeting Whitney to take her detail and getting ready photos at North Star Resort. Followed by heading to their main Airbnb to capture some photos of Kendall as she prepped for the big first look reveal.
Upon arriving at their venue, I was taken aback! Their floral arch? To freaking die for. The entire location was decorated so classically, and both I and the guests were obsessed.
As I mentioned, it was super cold for June. Most of the wedding party spent most of the time freezing their booties off. But, don’t you worry! We made the most of it, and everyone was absolute troopers. As you are scrolling through the photos below, make sure to pay attention to their crew. We are talking hype with a capital “H.”
Anyways, moving on to their vows!! There were tears and there were laughs. Kendall promised to always buy two bottles of gatorade when they make their gas station runs knowing that 1.5 of those bottles will be for Whitney. She also said that she will never forget to order her extra queso.
I am not crying… you are!
Because Kendall is a musician, it only makes sense that she would serenade Whitney. Towards the end of their reception, she sang some Beyoncé and Maroon 5.
It was lowkey, and it was beautiful.

Listen, when you find your person, you just know! I am just sooo happy for the Wesenbergs to be able to build their future together. It feels FANTASTIC to call them Kendall and Whitney Wesenberg!
